No two clients are the same but the following will give you an idea of costs for a professionally designed WordPress website through Prickly Pear Design. These websites will grow with you and can be expanded and improved at any time.

Costs shown are for a general website but additional features can be added on such as gallery pages, complex forms and bespoke features. Please get in touch with Cindy for a quotation.

The cost includes the first year’s website hosting, .co.uk domain name and SSL certificate to show that your website is trustworthy and secure.

Annual fees thereafter:

• Single web page hosting, .co.uk domain and SSL: £59.95

There is no obligation to renew and you are free to cancel at any time. Any monies already paid are non-refundable.

Additional Pages:

• From £50.00 per page
• 10% discount given for multiple pages added at one time

All updates will be carried out by Prickly Pear Design unless agreed otherwise. Fees may apply.

General website updates and improvements can be carried out such as text edits, new photos, images or a general tidy-up to make it all look better.

Fees are kept to a minimum and I only charge for the time involved.

• Minimum charge – £27.50
• FREE quotations provided on request

Access to your website admin area will be required in order to carry out the updates.

All purchased domain names include one free 2GB email address.

• .co.uk domains – £18.50 per year
• .com domains – £22.50 per year
• Other domains – please enquire

Additional Email Accounts

Additional email addresses can set up at any time as follows.

• Additional email address – £19.50 set-up fee then £12.00 per year
• Forwarding email address – £9.50 set-up fee with no ongoing costs

Your choice of domain name is important. If you need help choosing one, just let me know and I can provide a list of suitable domains that are available.

To save time, stress and confusion, I can set up your website hosting and administer the account for you if preferred. 

Since all requests are unique, hosting fees are quoted at the time of enquiry to fit your specific requirements but costs are competitive and affordable.

Hosting fees include:

• 1 x .co.uk domain
• One 2GB email address
• SSL certificate (worth £30 per year) to show that your website is trustworthy and secure

The website will be hosted on a fast, secure server through Ionos, a long-established and reputable company that I have been using for over 20 years.

What is hosting and why do I need it?

Websites are hosted or ‘stored’ on servers which allow your website to been seen by everyone on the internet using the latest technology.

You are welcome to set up or use your own website hosting (subject to access and agreement).
